Consultation required for new clients! Virgin hair application would entail simply lifting your hair with color! Color treated hair application looks a lot different, first the hair is lightened to lift pre existing color as much as possible, then toned/colored to match the shade you're going for. This also applies to very light hair going darker. This is one solid all over color.
